Centromed provided key Personal, Protective Equipment, being gloves and aprons, for use by the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association in order to assist the Association to continue providing important care and support to those that suffer from Cerebral Palsy and other Learning disabled members of society.
Who are the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association?
KZN Cerebral Palsy Association was founded over 50 years ago with an aim to cater for the needs of the Cerebral Palsied and Learning Disabled of all ages and groups in KwaZulu-Natal to enable them to attain their maximum level of independence and integration into the community.
The Association manages a number of projects that assists it to implement its mission. These include a school (Reunion) which accepts children living with Cerebral Palsy, and who are educable; A farm (Pevensey Place) in the Underberg where CP adults contribute to the running of the operations; Lastly, a Day Care Centre at the Association’s Head Office which caters for severely and profoundly disabled children and adults, all of varying degrees of severity.
